あやかしごはん ~おかわりっ!~ Ayakashi Gohan ~Okawari!~ Asagi

Asagi (CV: Akira Ishida) mysteriously appears again as it continues off from the original game. He was obviously a huge part of the plot in the first game and the FD basically explains everything that happened afterwords.

Asagi has no idea how long he’s been asleep but may no longer wake since he has already fulfilled his role. A voice then tells him to wake up and so he does.

OKA51

Rin takes a walk near the cherry blossom tree and feels lonesome now that it’s all withered. She thinks about her past in the village and how she came to live with everyone now. She also remembers meeting Asagi under the tree and then he transferred into her class and they properly introduced themselves to each other.

So at school Asagi asks Rin to give him a tour around the school. And before that, everyone introduces themselves to Asagi. Rin tells Asagi how she lives with Yomi and Uta and about her own situation with Gin and his restaurant. Finally they give Asagi a tour around the school and after that they walk home together. They ask where Asagi came from and apparently he lives with a man named Ichiru since he has no parents. He’s a novelist and quite famous for his Ayakashi related books. Yomi is very fasicinated by this because he’s a big fan of his works. Uta teases him for it and then Yomi gets pissed at him lol.

When they get back to the shop it’s pretty busy and Rin offers to help out. Soon Manatsu visits and Rin asks about Asagi and apparently he knows Ichiru who takes care of him. Apparently he left the village a long time ago but when his parents died he came back. Apparently he’s 40 ((though doesn’t look like it)) and can see Ayakashi. Gin says Rin is welcome to invite Asagi over anytime since he’d like to meet him.

That night Rin has a dream of saying farewell to someone. They told her to be happy as they faded away but she couldn’t remember who that person was. The next couple days Asagi had a growing popularity and Rin had a hard time getting a chance to talk to him because of it. Due to that she’s out of it when Gin tries to call out to her and suggests she just invites him over to ponpokorin so they can eat and chat together.

So the next day Rin invites Asagi over to her place. On the way back Uta and Yomi go to see Kami-sama so they walk back to her place alone. On the way there she talks about different stories involving Uta, Yomi, and Gin with Asagi. She says she has a lot of fun and Asagi tells her it’s better that way since her smile is wonderful. This makes Rin blush out of embarrassment but she thanks him. So they finally arrive at ponpokorin and Rin introduces Asagi to Gin. Rin tells Asagi she helps out there a lot and he realizes she must love cooking and eating delicious dishes. Gin then serves Asagi some tea and cake and Asagi melts over how delicious it is. Soon Manatsu arrives and greets Asagi normally since they already had known each other. Manatsu asks how Ichiru is doing and Asagi tells him he’s doing just fine. Soon Uta, Yomi, and Tsuzuri come home as well. Asagi introduces himself to Tsuzuri and he shyly greets him back. Gin asks Asagi to have dinner with them and Asagi says it should be fine since Ichiru has a deadline to meet at the moment.

So Asagi has dinner with everyone and they teach him about their hand clap before a meal. And so they finally start eating and Asagi tells Rin and Gin that the food is absolutely delicious. Soon it gets dark and Asagi thanks Gin for a delicious meal. Rin walks Asagi home and he tells her today was a lot of fun. He asks her if she’ll guide him around the village next and Rin says she’d love to show him around. They decide it being next Sunday and Rin asks if he’ll need his contact info but apparently he have a phone but Asagi says it should be fine since he’ll be able to meet her anywhere she is. Rin finds it strange he’d say that and felt like he’s heard someone say it before. Asagi says he felt the same way and Rin admits it’s pretty strange. Anyway, they finally get by his place and he tells her he’ll see her again. Once Rin leaves Asagi thinks to himself how it basically feels like this isn’t the first time he’s met Rin but doesn’t understand why. Since he has no memories before March 10th.

The next day Asagi suggests he’ll pick her up tomorrow at ponpokorin. Rin starts getting a bit embarrassed of the idea of the two of them going out together and Asagi teases her for being absentminded. That night Rin is anxiously wondering where she should guide Asagi around. Yomi hears her from outside her room and comes in and asks what’s wrong. Rin tells him and Yomi thinks it’s stupid she’d worry over something like that. He thinks he should just guide him around the places she likes. She thanks him for the suggestion and he just says she has nothing to thank him for and leaves.

The next day Asagi meets Rin at her place to be guided around the village by Rin. First she takes him by the river and they meet the Kappa. Rin is surprised Asagi can see him and it makes her realize that he too can see Ayakashi. Asagi predicts that Uta, Yomi, and Gin can see Ayakashi but unfortunately Hagi can’t. Later they go uptown to the shopping area and just then Manatsu comes crashing on his bike as usual. Asagi asks if he’s okay and Rin tells him he’ll be fine. After that they get a nice tour of the shrine from Hagi. Rin then suggests they visit the withered cherry blossom tree. When Rin looks at it she feels like she’s forgotten something very important. Asagi actually feels the same way and they both hope they can remember whatever it is. It’s starting to get late so Asagi suggests they head home. Asagi thanks her for today and they both hear the voice of a child. When they find the source of the voice they find a small Ayakashi there. Apparently her name is Lily and she got separated from her mother. They want to help her find her mother but it’s already late so they’d probably get lost looking for her. Rin suggests that Lily come with her home so they can look for her mother tomorrow. So Rin brings her home with her and explains the situation to Gin.

The next day Rin is about to begin her search for Lily’s mother. She suddenly encounters Mio and Sou. Rin introduces the two of them to Asagi and they say “the two of them” helped them start dating each other. They’re not sure why they said the two of them since they recall only Rin being there. They feel like they’ve forgotten something important. Rin finds it’s strange but disregards it as their imagination. Rin and Asagi then explain that their looking for Lilly’s mother and they suggest to help as well. Apparently Lilly is from the far wide sea. Mio then tells Rin that she feels like she’s met Asagi somewhere before but can’t remember where or why. Anyway, they look hard but can’t find Lilly’s mother. Sou then suggests he uses his power to make her voice loud enough for her mother to hear. She calls out numerous times and finally Sou is able to hear the reply of her mother. They go to the place where he heard it and there Lilly is able to reunite with her mother. She thanks them all and they go off to the mountain path together. After that Rin thanks Sou and Mio for their help. Mio then suddenly thanks Asagi and is not sure why but felt like she should. A couple weeks later Lilly comes to visit Rin and Asagi to thank them. They’re about to leave and she hopes the two of them can visit her sometime and they promise to do so.

Some time later Rin is anxious about what she wants to do in the future after receiving her career course form. She talks to Gin about it and he tells her that her grandmother saved money for her to realize her future without having to just start working. He’ll support her no matter what she wants to do but lets her know she has a choice in her future. Rin starts crying and thanks him.

Back at school, exams are coming up and Rin is still questioning on what to do. Asagi can tell she’s worrying but Rin makes up a lie that she’s worried about her studies. Asagi then suggests she study at his house and apparently Ichiru had wanted to meet Rin anyway. So they decide on next Sunday being their study date. So on Sunday Asagi comes to pick Rin up. Once they arrive at his home Rin see’s a cherry blossom tree there and asks if it was there before he moved in. Apparently it wasn’t and Ichiru brought it from where he used to leave. Apparently when Ichiru left the village he got a seedling from the dying tree and grew it in his new place. Ichiru then comes out and Rin introduces herself to him. Apparently he’s heard a lot about Rin from Asagi.

OKA63

Rin goes inside Asagi’s home and Rin tells Ichiru she’s studying with Asagi. The phone then starts to ring and Ichiru knows it’s his editor but still wants to edit his manuscript. So Asagi has no choice but to answer it and then tells Rin to go to his room and wait for him. So Rin waits in his room and Asagi finally comes in and they study for quite a while together. Ichiru then comes in and asks if there’s something to eat but Asagi says only the ingredients to make something and so he leaves. Asagi tells Rin he’s apparently bad at cooking and so Rin suggests to make dinner for them. And so Rin whips them up something and they all eat together. After that Asagi walks Rin home. He suggests they go somewhere together and Rin asks where. He says he wants to go see the ocean. Rin promises they can go together once they finish their exams.

Finally Rin’s exams are done and over with. Rin then tells she’s decided on what she wants to do and says she wants to become a teacher for a cooking class. Rin asks what Asagi wants to do and he says he wants to remain in the village and help Ichiru. He asks if he remembered their promise they made and she says she does. So the next couple days Rin finally prepares to go to the beach with Asagi. She boards the train with Asagi and it’ll be a while till they get there so they have plenty of time to talk. Asagi asks where Rin was before she came to the village and she tells him she lived in the city but she was much more lonelier. She wanted a family and when she moved to the village she actually got one. She tells him about when she lived with Gin and how she finally mustered up the courage to apologize to Gin when she hurt Gin’s feelings. So she’s the person who she is now because of what happened that summer. Rin apologizes for talking so much and Asagi says it’s fine since he’d like to know more about Rin. She says she’d like to learn more about him too though he gets a bit sad for a moment.

OKA42A

Soon they arrive at the beach together and walk around the shore with their shoes off. They walk near the water and Rin starts splashing water at Asagi. He gets her back and they start having an adorable splash fight. Though Rin suddenly starts crying for some reason. Asagi tells her not to cry and get off from the shore. After that, Rin calms down and Asagi brings her a drink. He then tells her he doesn’t have has memory from before March 10th of this year. When he woke up he was in the home of Ichiru’s and had fallen from the root of the cherry blossom tree. He thinks he’s probably an Ayakashi. He has no definite proof and can’t change form but the cherry blossom tree is 1,000 years old and he believes he too could be as an Ayakashi. He wants to know why he’s here and where he came from but can’t remember a thing. Rin says she’ll do whatever she can in order to help him recover his memory. He thanks her and feels much more reassured with her saying so. He then tells her he felt like he was meant to encounter her that day he met her under the cherry blossom tree. He then aplogizes for saying something strange and so they play a bit longer. They head home on the train and Rin asks where else he’d like to visit and Asagi says an amusement park, aquarium, and the place where Rin grew up. And so they both fall asleep on the train together before getting off.

A while after they visited the beach Rin visited the cherry blossom tree a lot in order to try and regain Asagi’s lost memory. Unfortunately, Asagi’s condition hadn’t been very well the past days. And one day when they visit the tree again an Ayakashi is there. His name is Yamato and he has deep relations with the cherry blossom tree. Apparently he’d come to see the cherry blossoms a lot recently. Rin tells him it’s always been withered but Yamato says that’s impossible since he’s certain it had been blooming just last year. Apparently the tree used to be known as Nakizakura. There was a demon who took care of the tree as both Ayakashi and humans supported each other. The demon’s daughter fell in love wtih someone in the village and so the demon planted the tree when they had a baby together. The three of them lived happily until a drought overcame the village. Many accidents occurred and the villagers noticed it started when the demon’s daughter and young man became a couple. So they decided to deprive the demon’s daughter of happiness so they could regain peace. The demon’s daughter couldn’t run away so she gave her child to her husband and told him to run away while she stayed. The villagers knew the husband and child left so they decided to try and cut down the tree she cherished. But she defended the tree with her very own life. Atter her death, when it became spring the cherry blossoms on the tree began to bloom beautifully.

Rin says that’s a horrible story but Yamato tells her that Ayakashi are born out of a human’s fear after all. Rin asks what kind of Ayakashi he is and he says he’s a demon Ayakashi. He notices that Asagi is also an Ayakashi that has deep relations with the cherry blossom tree too. Asagi admits he doesn’t have his memory from before March 10th and Yamato believes he’s probably forgotten something very important. Asagi’s body wavers and Yamato supports him. Asagi admits his body has been a bit weak recently. He wants to know more, but Yamato beleives it’d be best not to receive too much info at once or it’d overwhelm him. He says he’ll be in the village though and to visit when there’s something he may want to know more of. Rin thanks Yamato and so he leaves. On their way back Asagi is breathing heavily and Rin supports him so he can return home.

After that Rin’s exams start up again and Asagi is less energetic than usual. Rin hasn’t had the chance to see him lately and one day Yomi comes to her room to tell her she has a visitor. She comes downstairs to see Asagi standing there. She asks if he’s been okay lately and he says he has and thanks her for worrying about him. He says he wants to visit the cherry blossom tree and so they do. When they arrive at the tree they spot Yamato there. Asagi believes that the tree is beginning to wither and die. Asagi tells Yamato about his situation and the cherry blossom tree at his home but can’t find out much without seeing it so he asks if he can visit Asagi’s home tomorrow. Asagi tells him that’s fine and Yamato insists he returns home since he doesn’t look too good. Yamato can tell it’s about to rain so he warns them to go down the hill beforehand.

OKA43A

On their way back it starts to rain so Rin suggests they take shelter. Once they do it starts thundering and Rin gets scared. Asagi asks if she’s weak to thunder and she actually had been since she was young because she was always alone before. But Asagi assures her that he’s with her now and she’s not alone. He then holds hands with her in order to reassure her that he’s there with her. Rin doesn’t find it as scary as before and thanks him. The rain eventually stops and so they return home.

The next day Rin goes to Asagi’s house. Apparently Yamato isn’t there yet and he greets her and lets her come inside where she sees Ichiru as well. Ichiru’s deadline is coming up and he says he’ll work harder if he can have some of Rin’s delicious food. Asagi asks if that’s really okay and she happily accepts and says she likes cooking anyway. Soon Yamato arrives to examine the tree by Ichiru’s home. He tells them that the tree is indeed beginning to wither and die. He takes a branch off the tree in order to exam it further and says he’ll tell them when he finds out more about it. Rin and Asagi then go shopping together in order to prepare for dinner. Rin teaches Asagi how to cook so he’ll be able to make meals for Ichiru next time. After it’s made they eat dinner together and Ichiru loves it. Asagi tells him that Rin helped him make it so if he makes it next time he better be prepared to meet his deadlines. After that, Asagi walks Rin home. Rin sees a poster for the summer festival and Asagi suggests they go together which of course Rin is completely all over the idea.

It was finally the day of the summer festival and Rin is wearing a cute yukata. Soon Asagi comes over and sees Rin wearing her yukata. He says she looks absolutely beautiful and feels like to be able to go to the festival with her looking like that. So on the way there Asagi tells Rin to be sure to tell him if her feet start to hurt from wearing her shoes. When they arrive at the festival they take turns going from stall to stall while holding hands. Just as their figuring out where to go next, Rin gets separated from Asagi. She starts panicking and wishing to see him. So suddenly he appears and asks if she’s okay. She’s so relieved to see him that she starts crying. He apologizes for leaving her alone and she apologizes for getting lost. She wonders how he found her and he tells her that he’ll always appear when she wants to see him. She says she was scared since she didn’t know where he was and he assures her he’s here now. Rin suddenly has a memory of being embraced by Asagi as if the same situation had occured before. Asagi calls out to her and asks if she’s okay but Rin says she’s fine and was just absent-minded for a minute.

It then shows Yamato near the withered cherry blossom tree. He wonders why the tree is dying and asks his mother aloud if she knows. She risked her life for the tree’s sake. So Yamato is the baby in the story he told Asagi and Rin. And so he uses the branch he took from the other tree to learn the sad truth of the tree.

Asagi and Ichiru come to Rin’s place to have a party together. Manatsu ends up telling Ichiru how big of a fan Yomi is of his work and totally embarrassing him lol. So they enjoy dessert afterwords after dinner and chat happily. After that Rin goes outside together with Asagi. Suddenly, cherry blossom petals start to fall randomly though Rin and Asagi are unsure of why and apparently it happened before too.

Over time Asagi began to weaken even more and when Rin comes to visit him, he’s asleep in bed. Ichiru’s unsure of when his condition will improve. So Rin comes over everyday to make a meal for Asagi. Unfortunately, he starts to lose his appetite and can’t eat much anymore. So Rin goes to the cherry blossom tree and notices it’s starting to rot. She wonders why and then Yamato appears. She tells him about Asagi and he says at this rate the tree and Asagi won’t make it until summer. Rin wonders what she can do and Yamato reminds her that she’s forgotten something. Rin remembers the visions she has which are related to Asagi’s lost memory. But Yamato can’t tell her himself and only she has to remember along with the rest of the village. Asagi had appeared only because of a tragic event after all and the cherry blossom tree had used up too much power to erase the sad memories. As long as everyone forgets it, Asagi will continue to weaken and soon disappear. But Yamato cannot help her remember and she has to remember on her own.

OKA44A

On August 20th Rin goes to visit Asagi again but apparently he left the house despite Ichiru trying to stop him. She runs off to the withered cherry blossom tree and finds Asagi there. He’s laying on the ground in his Ayakashi form. Rin starts to panic and doesn’t know what she should do until Yamato shows up. He takes Asagi back to Ichiru’s place. Ichiru then tells them about how he first found Asagi. He heard a noise and thought it was an intruder at first but when he went outside, cherry blossom petals started to flutter. It’s then he saw Asagi by the tree with his Ayakashi appearance. He wouldn’t wake up so he carried him inside but he had no memory when he woke up the next day. Ichiru isn’t sure what to do but apparently the memories of the events from a year ago are missing. So it’s necessary for the memories to be revived because if the tree and Asagi disappear they’ll never be recalled. Apparently they only have 10 days left until the tree fully begins to wither. Ichiru says he’ll try investigate on his own and tells Rin he’ll tell her if he finds out something. Rin is determinded too since she doesn’t want to lose Asagi no matter what.

The next day Rin decides to go visit Kami-sama and tell him the situation. Although Kami-sama doesn’t know or remember anything about a tragedy in the village, he does want to investigate it as well. That night Rin talks with Gin about it as well but doesn’t remember anything. He does however mention that the day Ichiru found Asagi was March 9th and the day after is March 10th which he feels may have a connection. Anyway, Gin says he’ll tell her if he figures anything out.

OKA48D

Some days pass and Rin asks various villagers but no one remembers anything. And strangely enough, none of the events of August 20th to August 31st can be remembered. Afterwords, Rin goes to visit Asagi but he’s still asleep and won’t wake up. Rin decides to stay and watch him while Ichiru goes back to work. She starts to cry and apologize for not being able to find a way to save him. Suddenly she feels someone wipe her tears and then she notices Asagi is awake and staring right at her. He tells her not to cry and that she doesn’t need to worry so much about him. He tells her that being able to meet her was good enough for him. He was very happy and had a lot of fun when he was around her. He thinks he was probably in love with her since he always felt his heart beat fast when he was near her. He learned many pleasures and was able to learn many things from her. He tells her to be happy before closing his eyes. Suddenly, all of Rin’s memories of Asagi come flashing through her mind before losing consciousness.

When Rin wakes up she’s back in her room with Uta and Yomi there. Yomi goes to get Gin and Uta explains that she fell unconscious in Asagi’s room. Rin then mentions how Uta and Yomi’s eyes are better since they used to wear eyepatches when she first met them. Gin realizes she remembered everything and apparently so did he. Uta and Yomi are confused to Rin explains everything to the two of them. Rin then says she’s going to go see Yamato tomorrow so she can save Asagi and the tree. Of course the rest of them won’t allow her to burden this on her own and agree to come with her for support.

The next morning Ichiru comes over and tells them that Asagi had disappeared. Rin goes to where the cherry blossom tree is and so she Gin, Uta, and Yomi all go together. It’s there they meet Yamato and they introduce themselves to him. Rin tells him that she remembered everything but doesn’t know where Asagi is. Yamato believes that Asagi’s is probably on the verge of disappearing but he does believe there is a way to save him. He says that the tree is a keepsake of his mother’s and that he’s the child who escaped with his father. Asagi was born from the tree because of the disaster that happened and Gin’s sadness and grief from it. The memory of the village was in an endless loop and Asagi’s power kept it intact. And when the loop came to an end, Asagi’s role had ended and he was suppose to disappear along with the tree. However, the tree didn’t truly disappear because Ichiru replanted the seed from the tree in his backyard. And the final wish of the tree was for Asagi to live happily so he was taken out from the loop. So the tree used up the rest of it’s power to allow Asagi to exist. So if they can revive the cherry blossom tree it’s possible they can save Asagi. He can’t do it allow and asks them to lend him power.

So they all agree to try and help but Uta, Yomi, and Gin’s power isn’t enough. Suddenly, every Ayakashi in the village show up to try and help and lend their power as well. Due to this, the tree gradually begins to grow and start to revive. Soon the tree is fully revived and Asagi appears under it still unconscious. Rin runs up to him and hugs him but he’s still asleep. She doesn’t understand why but she calls out to him. Soon he finally begins to wake up and tells her he’s remembered everything and he’s glad he could meet her again.

OKA72

Asagi is carried back to his place and Rin watches over anxiously him while holding his hand. He finally wakes up and Rin calls out to him and tells him he’s back in Ichiru’s home. She tells him that she’s remembered everything and so has he and didn’t think they’d be able to meet again. Uta and Yomi then come in along with Gin, Ichiru, and Yamato. They’re all relieved to see Asagi awake and he says he needs to rest for a while but wants to see Rin agan soon and she says she’ll see him again tomorrow. On Rin’s way home she thanks Yamato and e thanks her as well for saving his mother’s keepsake. He says he’s going to leave on a journey and Gin promises they’ll continue to protect the cherry blossom tree.

The next day was August 31st and Rin and Asagi see Yamato off. She thanks Yamato for helping her remember the events as sad as they may be. Asagi wonders how he was saved since he had already disappeared and Yamato believes it was probably his mother who did since she’d always protected the tree and that’s where Asagi had originally come from. Asagi then remembers he heard a woman’s voice before Ichiru had found him. Yamato believes it must’ve been his mother then since his name is originally Yamato Asagi. So which means that both Yamato and Asagi are brothers. He says he’ll likely meet them again and Yamato says goodbye to them.

After that, Asagi calls out to Rin and says he loves her. Rin gets embarrassed and asks why he said that all of a sudden. Before he hold her he was “probably” in love with her but now he’s telling her that he knows he is. She tells him that she’s in love with him as well. He says he loves her but he’s still an Ayakashi and she’s human. He knows they’ll have hardships but as long as they’re together they can overcome anything. So he asks her to be with him from now on in the future. Rin starts crying and tells him that of course she’ll be with him. He says he loves her just cause he likes saying it and she says she loves him too.

Summer vacation ended and Rin starts her second term of school. On the way there Asagi is waiting there. Asagi greets them like normal but Rin gets really blushy around Asagi. Ut anad Yomi can tell something is off and they seem more intimate lol. Asagi then boldly and proudly exclaims that they’re dating now. Uta’s all “Oh, you’re dating–WAAAAAIT WHAAT!?” Rin gets embarrassed and Yomi doesn’t get why Uta’s so surprised. Asagi then literally says “Rin likes me and I like her so we’re dating now” ((I can’t believe how bold Asagi is it’s absolutely adorable))). This just gets Rin more embarrassed and Uta just runs off. So at school Hagi finds out the news as well and supports them happily.

One day in class Suou gets close to Rin since he smells something sweet off of her and realizes he’s smelling cookies she made last night. He tells her to give him some and then Asagi comes over and tells Suou to not get so close to her ((jealous Asagi holy shit I love it)). He says she’s his lover so he doesn’t want him getting so close to her but Suou only cares about the sweets she has haha. Asagi says if he understands then that’s good and pulls Rin away. Suou admits he was scary for whatever the heck happened LOL.

Asagi and Rin go to the beach again and Rin is really giddy over it. Apparently Asagi wanted to take her there since she looked tired and busy lately and wanted to let her have a break for once. Rin didn’t realize he was thinking about her that much and he says he’s always thinking about her. She asks why and it’s because he loves her of course. Rin then calls him over to her and he then grabs her hand and pulls her close into an embrace.

OKA45C

He tells her he wanted to do that for a while now and she did too. He wanted to make sure she was properly there with him and she assures him that she’s here. He knows that but sometimes he can’t help but feel uneasy about it. Rin says she understands since she feels sometimes he may just disappear somewhere at times. So he assures her that he’ll give her a hug whever she’s feeling uneasy. Rin ends up looking up at Asagi as if they’re about to kiss and gets really embarrassed and says the sea looks nice to change the topic lol. That night she finds Uta lying downstairs. He suddenly asks if she and Asagi really are dating and she confirms they are. He then asks if they’ve kissed yet and Rin’s all “WHAAAT’S WITH THAT ALL OF A SUDDEN?!” but says she hasn’t yet but doesn’t get why he’d even care. He says it’s because he’s just curious and she basically tells him to mind his own business lol. He then teases that he better hurry up prepare for their kissy time and Rin calls him an idiot. She then remembers that she was close to kissing him at the beach and isn’t sure how to go about it lol.

It’s finally winter and Rin is studying hard for her exams as Christmas slowly approaches. One day after class Asagi tells Rin that Ichiru is writing a new book. It’s a love story between a human and Ayakashi and is based off of her and Asagi’s relationship. Rin finds it a bit embarrassing but nice none the less. Asagi agrees they should read it together when it’s published. That night the two of them are looking foward to their Christmas party though Asagi truthfully would prefer it to be the two of them. So they promise to slip out during the party to have some alone time.

It’s finally Christmas and Gin makes a delicious feast for the party. Uta teases Asagi for acting lovely dovey around Rin and Asagi teases him that he hopes he can find someone to act イチャイチャ with too and this gets Uta embarrassed lol. A while after that Asagi whispers to Rin to get on her coat so they can sneak out and so they do. Rin sneazes since it’s a bit cold outside and so Asagi draws her close to him so she can stay warm. Asagi says he wants to give Rin her Christmas present and tells her to close her eyes. And the next thing he does is kiss her and says he loves her. He says that was his own Christmas present and Rin is so surprised that she’s speechless. He asks if she didn’t like it but in fact she did and even asks for him to do it again unconsciously. She gets embarrassed for saying that but he doesn’t mind and kisses her again.

OKA46A

On New Years day Asagi tells Rin that Ichiru finished the book he was writing and asks if she wants to read it together. Asagi already read it but wants to know Rin’s opinion on it. So they go to his house and begin to read it. Basically it’s a love story between a human and an Ayakashi. It’s about how they overcome a lot together and even when they’re separated they’re still able to meet again and be happy even despite their differences. She loves the story and tells Asagi that she’ll stay with Asagi as long as she possibly can. And so they both exchange a kiss.

Rin’s exams come up and thankfully she passes and is about to go off to university. As she gets ready to pack Asagi comes to visit her. He wants to go take a walk with her so they stroll around the giant cherry blossom tree. Asagi tells Rin there’s petals on her head and when he gets close to take them off she closes her eyes. Asagi then takes that moment to give her a kiss and assumed she wanted him to since she closed her eyes LOL. Asagi apologizes for misunderstanding but Rin says he’s not really cause he always wants kisses from Asagi ((hehehe)). She gets completely embarrassed after saying that and Asagi just says she’s cute when she’s embarrassed. Rin says she’ll feel lonely separating tomorrow but she’s going to do her absolute best. Asagi says he’ll always be supporting her and she just has to look at the sky which connects them. And if a cherry blossom falls that’ll be proof that he’s with her. So when the day comes for her to leave, everyone gathers at the station. She says goodbye to everyone and Asagi tells her they’ll always be connected no matter how far she is from him.

Best End

It’s been one year since Asagi asked Rin to married him. Rin had been working in an office back in the village and Asagi still lives with Ichiru as his own assistant manager. And on March 9th Asagi and Rin had their wedding together at the shrine. And on the day of their wedding they go to the cherry blossom tree and wish each other their best regards as husband and wife. Uta calls them over to hurry on back for the reception. Asagi then steals a kiss from Rin and asks if she’s happy and she says she is.

And so 10 years pass after that. Rin and Asagi go to visit the cherry blossom tree together. Rin still calls Asagi “Asagi-kun” and he teases her about it since it hasn’t change all this time. Rin asks Asagi to bury her by the tree when she dies because she wants to always be with him. Asagi promises he will but that’ll be a long time from now. It’s then a child (named Ouka who’s Rin and Asagi’s child) comes running up to them with an older Tsuzuri. He apologizes for Ouka interrupting their time together but they say it’s fine. Rin and Asagi tell Ouka that this is a very special place for them.

Good End

Rin returns to the village after 4 years and graduating from University. Asagi is picking her up and she sees him at the station. He gets her luggage in the car and they drive back. He asks if she wants to go to the beach and she says she does since it’s been a while since they’ve gone together. Once they get there they play for a bit until Asagi hugs her closely and says he wants to tell her something. He says he wants to get married and Rin happily agrees to become his bride and so they exchange a kiss of promise.

Bad End

Truthfully it was really short but basically Asagi just ends up disappearing since they couldn’t remember his past.

Thoughts: Well, that’s that! Asagi finally got his happy end. Anyway, this was definitely the best route to finish off the entire game. I’m gonna miss these characters but this FD definitely gives them the closure I wanted. I loved Asagi’s route though he was absolutely adorable and wow I just wanted to see more jealous Asagi cause I can tell he’d cut a bitch if someone flirted with Rin. ( ̄ー ̄) The story with Yamato though seemed kinda random though and I can tell they weren’t really sure how to explain it so they kinda had to throw something in there about him growing out of the tree or whatever. Anyway, I don’t really care cause I finally got some nice romance scenes with Asagi. I liked the connections with the first game too though and how Rin and Asagi remembered each other.

My only complaints would probably be the CGs. I mean they kinda have a little to begin with but sometimes I wish there could be better usage of scenes for ones. I loved his hugging one though that one was my fave ((even if it was reused in the good end…)) but I hate it when kiss CGs tease you with THEIR LIPS NOT TOUCHING ((I’m getting Saitou flashbacks)) no wedding CG either but, oh well. I guess I just feel like half the CGs were Asagi laying on the ground. There was an older Tsuzuri which was nice to see cause hot damn boy you went from a cutie to a hottie. But gosh I must’ve taken forever to finish Suou’s route cause Asagi’s didn’t take me very long.

I’m laughing looking back at what I wrote when I finished the first game though cause it’s as if I told the creators what needed to be had for a FD:

“Also, I really wanted to see a bit more of the character’s futures. Surely Rin can’t live with Gin forever, so I assume eventually she’d move out with one of her partners to go live together or something. Heck, even a marriage or something would’ve been nice. Everyone’s futures are still a bit vague… so I personally wouldn’t mind a fandisc or something. Not sure if it’d happen since I don’t know how popular this game has been but I certainly wouldn’t mind. I guess then it’d be kinda sad for the Ayakashi routes since she’ll eventually die but…eh. I just want more Yomiiiiiii! щ(ºДºщ)”

And what do you know, everything I said was basically what happened with the FD. That was like a year ago and here I am now knowing everything that happens with these characters. It’s so weird LOL. Well, I got what I wanted so I’m not complaining. I really enjoyed this series and honestly I highly recommend this game/series since it’s overly emotional and it’s got a great set of characters. There were certain things that probably could’ve been done better in some ways, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.
