Towa (CV: Hanae Natsuki) is a bratty 16 year old who takes on the personality of (15 year old) Fuuto. He likes sweets and even gets Futaba to buy some peach and caramel chips which end up being surprisingly good. He constantly nags Futaba to buy him drinks and drive him places.
While practicing for the upcoming live, he’s worried about his marks in school so Futaba decides to help tutor him and he reluctantly agrees for her to help. When she does, her hair ends up getting in the way a lot whilw trying to teach Towa. It makes her think about cutting it since he said something about trying a change and so the follow week she cuts it off. Towa is surprised but she tells him its for a change of pace and Towa also passed the test she helped him study for so he has free time for summer break.
After the live, Towa screws up for a moment in the middle of the performance so he feels like crap because of it. Futaba notices this and tries to talk with him. As the other members leave, he shows her his dance move he’s able to do it perfectly in front of her but when doing the real thing on stage he can’t manage it. Futaba tells him she’s been watching him perform and sees how hard he tries and gives him some magical words of encouragement. He didn’t realize how much she was watching him but it lifts his spirits up and he tells her to keep on watching as he does his best.
After Eiichi goes into a slump due to his siscon ways, his shit needs to be cleaned up by the rest of the members. Futaba ends up suggesting to have Towa audition for the role that Eiichi was supposed to do since he has experience in acting. Problem is, Towa has never experienced love before so he feels his feelings can’t be completely genuine. She suggests using her to practice but after Futaba gets conscious of him being close he gets conscious and tells her to forget it and that he’ll manage. Eventually, they manage to get Eiichi get his shit together after Futaba brings Fuuto back from America.
Futaba starts noticing Towa looking really tired after his busy schedule so she makes adjustments so he can have a day off. He doesn’t have any friends though so he spends it with Futaba and they win a stuffed animal while playing a crane game. Towa gives the stuffed toy to Futaba and he gets all dokidoki about her reaction. They then find this America fest thing going on and see all sorts of different American foods (which seem very colorful?? Lmao). They eat some cupcakes together and cause Towa doesn’t like his she gives her’s to him instead. Futaba almost trips and Towa catches her making her conscious of him and getting dokis. After that, Tsukishiro reveals some photos of them that were taken with them together and tells her to be careful next time.
During the live, Towa messes up but Fuuto is able to cover him. After that, Towa is all depressed because he doesnt think he’s good enough as the other members. Especially Fuuto, who doesn’t even practice as much as him and yet he still performs better. Towa takes Futaba to see a movie Fuuto was in when he was younger. Futaba admits after the movie Fuuto had amazing acting skills and Towa agrees while upset. Futaba decides to admit that maybe he should consider a new path if this is how he feels. Towa lashes out at her and she hugs him to confort him. He apologizes knowing she said what she said for his sake.
6 months later Towa realizes he’s probably not going to get any better than he already has so he tells everyone he’s considering leaving Fortte. Everyone is surprised but respects his decision after he gives his reasoning behind it. He tells the president but she tells him to think about it some nore before coming to a final decision about it. Futaba then finally confesses she loves Towa as well albeit with random timing. Matsunaga again has his scandal he blackmails Futaba with and so after Towa hears of this from Futaba, he tells her to arrange a meeting with Matsunaga. When they do, Towa tells him to use an even better scoop which is that he’s officially leaving Fortte.
So now that Towa is no longer an idol and Futaba is no longer his manager, he decides its finally time to make out with Futaba!! She asks if he’s gonna kiss her she wants to know his real feels so he finally confesses he loves her and tells Futaba to confess to him like 3 more times. So after that, Towa officially decides to leave and performs his last live. He leaves a last minute surprise though and has Egawa take his place in Fortte but keep his position of leader as Shibuki.
So after Towa finally leaves Fortte he’s studying hard for exams to enter university. He has dates with Futaba when he’s not busy albeit the both of them are busy with her still working as a manager and him focusing on school. As time passes, Futaba continues to help Towa with his studies as he’s about to enter university. Futaba takes Towa out for dinner to celebrate entering university and he talks about how he wants to continue to grow. Also as a reward for graduating, he wants his virginity taken by Futaba lmaooo. In the carnivore end Futaba does eventually take his virginity and they get to frick frack as a reward for Towa getting into uni. In the bad end, Towa is too busy making tomodachis to hang out with Futaba anymore.
Thoughts: I guess this is the shota-type route? Except, Towa has the personality of 15 year old Fuuto albiet not as snarky and teasing. I kind of thought Towa was going to be more flirty but he was actually the opposite. He never had a GF and thought relationships were dumb. I guess cause he wanted to focus on his career (that he fell out of anyway). He was also super jealous of Fuuto yet somehow his personality became his?? Anyway I honestly thought Towa’s route was fine but the romance just wasn’t there. There’s no development its just kinda suddenly they like each other I guess?? At least there was no over the top secret about him (he wasn’t a sex crave maniac either) but I couldn’t unsee little brother and older sister. Idk.
